He is back......
My favorite this time is that he claims a roll was opened and had, "CC's D, O S and P" yet he says later, " My family purchased two rolls in the late 1800's"
Wow. A time traveling coin.
This guy has gone to a lot of effort to make these fantasy rolls so I wish he could at least get his lies to be airtight.

He has quite an elaborate story. I'm curious if anyone knows the history of paper rolled coins. When did that really begin? I thought the treasury dealt with bags as smallest unit, and fed reserve banks rolled for local banks. I don't know how that worked before the creation of the federal reserve. What I'm getting at, is whether his unlikely story is even historically possible?

In the 1800's there was no such thing as mechanical wrapped rolls.. If there were any rolls they would have been hand wrapped and sealed in some way such as wax. This roll is obviously a mechanically wrapped roll. The patent for machine wrapping was issued in 1947 and became popular in the 1950's by banks and casinos.
