For what it's worth I've never seen a single Walking Liberty Half Dollar move...
They should have named that series Legs Spread Standing Liberty Half Dollars

Yeah these are so poorly stuck the head can look like an ice cream scoop. There's also both interior and rim cuds known for this date along with a die crack that runs through Miss Liberty's head which looks like horns.

You guys are right on. I was talking to the dealer about this piece and the fact that it didn't have a full head. He said that he's seen much worse and he told me that the 1926 -D is very rare with a full head and would cost $9,000 in this grade if it did have one. I really didn't know that and I learned something new, when I purchased it.

The 1926-S is also another strike rarity.
Here's the best headed 1926-D I ever found... Unfortunately it was in a ANACS UNC Details holder.

What's not to like! The coins from this time (Silver and Gold) are truly the high water mark of US coinage.

Beautiful look, congratulations, Walkerfan! The '26-D is notoriously poorly struck. The good thing is, when you see one with a look you like, you get the opportunity to pay '17-P T1/'30-P MS money to own an SLQ from Denver. This one was graded 64 by NGC. Apparently, it was in a B. Max Mehl envelop for 60-70 years from the Frederic Geiss auction in February 1947. The luster is something else (although you wouldn't know from this picture).
