Completed my Trade Dollar business strikes and major varieties collection

I recently made a couple of purchases that allowed me to" complete" my set. (I doubt I'll ever own the elusive 76-s DDO) I also own a fair number of scarcer die combos , wide cc's and so on but am not inclined to pursue every variety. Thanks to the Trade Dollar Community for helping me achieve this, principally Crypto, Tennessee Dave, Original Dan, and probably some others I can't remember right now. So here are a couple of pics:
1876-s RPD.
This coin was listed on the DLRC website, when looking at the photos (thank you DLRC for upping your imaging game!) I thought I saw a hint of a cockeyed smile (or a crescent moon?) inside the lower loop of the 6. I contacted the seller to make an offer, and Matthew Kavalek and I quickly arrived at a mutually satisfying price. Matthew was great to work with and very responsive, I can't recommend him highly enough! I really, really like this coin. Graded MS 62 by NGC, it has a very good strike (sharp stars and no roadkill-flat leg on the eagle) and a lot of flash and coppery gold toning. My photos don't come close to in hand viewing.
1875 s/cc
From Crypto's set. I am really glad to give this one an appreciative new home. Formerly NGC 61, now PCGS 58, I don't see any rub on the high points at all. Plenty of luster and some peripheral tone, the underlying CC is readily visible. Really one of the stars of my collection.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
AWESOME! Congrats on a job well done! I guess I've been sucked in, too, and am well on the way to a similar set. Just a few more to go...

Congrats on a great set!
Well done
Well done Kaz, you’ve come a long way and I can see that your eye for quality coins has developed over time. I hope we can meet up again someday.
It feels great to complete a set....and they are nice coins - great pictures too... Cheers, RickO
congrats on completing the set. it sure does feel good to do that
Thanks for all the kind remarks, everyone! While I tend to gravitate towards circulated (ef-vf) coins with gray or deeper toned surfaces, the 2 new additions add some flash to an otherwise understated collection. I'm moving images over to that great free resource, CollectiveCoin, so if anyone wants to see some of my other trade dollars, pics are there. Hope everyone has a great weekend, and anyone in the path of Florence, stay safe. (we dodged a big one here in Central Va.)
Fantastic coins, I envy you.
And with that last post, a little thing popped up saying that I had been promoted to "Master Collector."
You deserve it. You’ve been a real asset and good resource around here.

Your persistence and dedication is to be congratulated. A difficult task is applauded.
Great work
Congratulations on a very interesting set. I can only imagine what you learned on this journey. Trade Dollar nut is already taken........so maybe we will now refer to you as Trade Dollar Guru, or TDG for short.
OINK
Dear Trade Dollar Guru,
BRAVO!
I've learned there are additional changes to this series to be published in the next Gobrecht Journal.
As long as you have reached this rare accomplishment, you may wish to extend your set to a state completion that many important Trade dollar experts mentioned above have chosen to ignore.
no guru here, a mere acolyte. Thanks for the heads up on the article. Did you write it?
