My photographic interpretation of the 2018 Pd. $25 eagle.

All day I was thinking about my Pd. sitting at the UPS warehouse, couldn't wait to race outa work, get it and shoot this bad boy.
I'm thankful that I'm fortunate enough to swing this right after property taxes and thankful I was able to obtain one from the Mint. Could be better the reflection was a killer, as you can see. 1/200, f6.3, iso 100, center weighted metering, about 18" of the coin. Coin was shot raw, what a pain it was removing it from the capsule. God bless those lost on 9/11 and their families and God bless those in the path of mother nature's fury.

Great pictures, i really like the white at thr lower half rims, makes it look more "real" and 3D than the pure black field type shots do.

Thanks for the kind words. Upon deeper examination the coin has streaks and specs on the obverse fields, they look to be part of the coin and IMO would not grade 70, lucky if it came back 69.
Edit: Plus the reverse at 12 o'clock is chewed up on the inside rim.

(I think you are able to return it within 7days :/)

What will I get in return though? Does anyone here have imperfections on the coin? How picky is to picky?
Would the chatter at 12 o'clock on the reverse prompt most to return it?

I am very picky especially for the premium we paid. I am curious as to how common this may be on other and if the later availability reflect some of the returned pieces?

This chatter on the rims was very common on last years coins, even on the ms70 ones. I think I just peed a little from excitement looking at these pics. :D

Beautiful coin and photos. Mine is supposed to be here Friday by end of day. Doesn't the mint make extra coins to allow for returns?
