It depends on if it is a raw reject that was not slabbed with visible flaws, or if it is a PCGS PR 70. Depends on status of our relationship with Russia who supplies most of it to the world. Depends on if oil prices don't go over $100/bbl due to Iran sanctions, and if SUV's continue to be the big sellers in China and the US ( takes twice as much for larger converters than small cars. I is already in supply/demand deficit. Trying not to mention, but it also depends on Trump tariff impacts.
If I actually knew the answer and where the Palladium price will be in a year, I would not be posting here as much; I would be in Hawaii enjoying retirement.
A year from now, I will go with $1700 raw, and $2,300 PCGS 70 for the 2018 proof.
If the Mint wants to create complete hysteria they should announce soon that they will mint a 2019 Reverse Proof of this palladium series, with say a maximum mintage of 20,000 and HHL of one.
Can I list a pre-sale at say $5,000 now, with FedEx overnight delivery when I receive it?
I wonder what the public response would be if the Mint would do one of these Palladium coins in 2020 with Mercury and the rim in 24k gold layered relief on a proof eagle. It might really be impressive. These are not "colorized", but real gold.
These were minted by Bernard von NotHaus at the Royal Hawaiian Mint. There were only around 20 ever minted in this gold relief.
Just look at last year's bullion version for guidance. The proofs will go for ~ $1600 to $1700 raw or as 69's with NGC 70's ~ $2000, PCGS 70's ~$2500. Book it Dano.

7% over market for the metal. Or: $782.50 + 54.78 = $837.28.
$2,000 to $2,500
Successful Trades: Swampboy,
No guess here....However, I would say in two years, it will be a small percentage above spot... i.e. ten percent or so.... Cheers, RickO
if they don't continue the series, the prices will remain strong
Less than $1800., since that's how much I paid for one the day after the sell-out ...and the start of the flippin' season.

No predictions here, I just want to get this on record when this topic is revisited in the future.
Did I make a wise decision or was I a fool?

anyone that makes a 40%+ return in less than a week is a winner.
I have bookmarked this thread so it will be easy to find in a year.
Raw = $1,600
PF 69 = $1,800

If the spot price stays constant:

I don't judge the wise or the fool. It's a hobby.
