Collectors Corner

I purchased a Morgan dollar on Collectors Corner from Tucson Coin & Autograph. They quickly took my money, however, now I cannot even get them to connect with me nor send me the coin. It has been five days and nada. I have sent them three emails and no response. This is the last time I will use the seller or Collectors Corner. At least with eBay I have some protection with eBay's policy. But for now I may have sent money out into the blue yonder.

How did you pay by Pay Pal, Credit Card or did you send cash in the mail?

I’ve heard that there are others that have been stung on CC. Always use caution and PP for your protection.

My Credit Card company when I tell them the seller scammed me they always refund me and prosecute the scammers. They the Credit Card have big lawyers with LOTS of money.

Fortunately I used PayPal. However I still do not like being treated like that. Will not expose myself again.

Once you get your money back from pp, you can do better, maybe seek out a local coin dealer and do it in person. Peace Roy

Only been 5 days, could be there at a coin show. Don't panic yet.

Wait a few more days and, if you don't hear anything, then notify PayPal and your credit card company. Good luck!!

Had a similar problem with Nevada coins. They took my money (via CC) and sent me an email saying the coins were on the way. After a week of waiting I asked for a tracking number but then said they hadn't sent them yet. WTF... Anyway, they sent it the next day and I got it after a few more days. No explanation of why they didn't send it when they say they did but ay least they did respond to my emails and phone calls.

Not everyone ships like Amazon...5 days isn't that odd for the above stated reasons.

How long does it take to send a quick email? Customers will accept a lot as long as they are kept informed. A generic txt file could be copy and paste into the body. What's that...5 seconds? 30 seconds at the most start to send. If you don't think your customer is worth 30 seconds then you don't deserve our business.

Unless you have an unexpected emergency there is no excuse for no communication. I would have to think long and hard before I considered buying from them again.

In the world of "instant gratification", we have grown accustomed to some sellers sending items out by the end of business day. Unfortunately, not everyone practices this kind of service. I would give 'em a few more days.

I had one CC dealer cease listings the day AFTER I purchased a coin.
It's best to follow up when buying with a search for a website of the seller.
    Mine had one.
But it was sure a surprise to go check back on the listings of them and find.... NONE! :o

I finally called the seller yesterday and after being put on hold for 15 minutes another person picked up the call and said it was shipped Friday. No notice or tracking info just sent it out. All it would have taken was a simple email. I don't call that customer service.

A lot of different dealers list coins on Collector's Corner. Maybe contact the dealer directly and see if they still have the coin. One on CC is on the way to me now, so just because it shows up there does not mean it is available.

Brett was at the Long Beach show,
and I happen to know he drove there,
so he's probably still on the road, or
    close to home.

Please give him a day or two to reply or
respond to you. He is a great guy, honest,
and you have nothing to worry about.

Are you speaking of Northern Nevada Coins? If so, I have dealt with them several times in the last couple of years and was very satisfied with their policies and the quality of their coins. If not, sorry to butt in.
