A lot of hard work and research over 20 years.

In the last 9 months or so, I have been putting my personal collection into inventory, some really nice stuff that I have acquired over 20 years.

Nowadays I only buy the very best and do pay up for it. An Example is a double struck 2000 nickel that should arrive in the mail today and then go for certification tomorrow. I paid over $350 for it which I consider low wholesale. Not many other dealers willing to pay three fiddy for a very common double struck modern error coin. Thing is, this has the best eye appeal of any of them B) It looks similar to my avatar (which sold two weeks ago) except it is a Jefferson.

Although I do not collect error coins, I must admit a strong fascination with them, and the mental exercise of trying to determine how they were created. Other than a blank cent planchet, I have never found an error coin in change or rolls. Cheers, RickO

NGC has it, Eye appeal all there, not sure of the grade tho.

I just drove 4 hours to Long Beach and back. Spent One hour 15 minutes at the show. Had 48 error coins certified at a cost of about 2K.

    Here is that Jeff .....
