The reverse appears pretty low on the originality scale, and while I don't doubt it was "taped" it looks like an experiment. Kinda like the masking tape jobs I do when painting the interior of my house it looks like whatever was applied leached under the tape.
Just my .02.
Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set: 1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S. Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
I am going to say that the coin was affixed to an album slot with selvage from stamps as opposed to purpose made tape only because the pattern looks more like perforations than the zigzag pattern of a tape cutter. Could be wrong. I am on the fence about NT vs AT but I would have bought it.

Certainly interesting color and markings.... I can see the 'tape' concept... but wonder what environmental components produced the blue tarnish...There is blue in the tarnish progression range, however, this looks too uniform (and yes, I see the pink as well)...The discussion of AT vs. NT is specious at best in this case...Definitely a unique case. Cheers, RickO
It almost looks painted on. I would need to see it in hand, but I think it is questionable. It would be worth a submission to see what our host thinks.

I dig it! I like blueberries!
I vote insane genius, lol.
I'd vote for massive environmental damage based on those images.

Unusual markings for sure but strangely I like it.
I'm leaning towards NT, thinking it was taped into an album or onto something.
I'm not sure if I like it or not.
Interesting to say the least, I wouldn't call it "stupid" though. There are many different ways to enjoy this Hobby.

Taped and wild color, not sure I like it but it’s definitely different.
Interesting! I like.

Look to match the end of 3rd cycle to 4th on the toning progression chart, may have a winner.
...the lyric just came to my head ...... blueberry field forever song
We'll send it in and see. Please let us know I am curious. Nice deep blue if it passes you have a good one.
i like to. fwiw
I vote NT. Interesting piece. Looks like it may have been taped to something for 50+ years.
Submit it … I think it may holder.
Dave
You're a mad genius!!!
Interesting.....a little dark.
But, a piece that could likely grow on me depending upon what the purchase price was.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Ummmm.... I guess I'm bucking the trend. I'm not a huge fan of this sort of toning. Best!

That piece would grow on me... I like it.
I would have bought it only if it was real cheap.
I like it.. I bet the luster still pops under that color.
I would be surprised if it straight graded.
I had to come back and admire this one again!

Better living through chemistry.
The coin doctor needs to spend some more time at the lab bench

Looks damaged but the blueberry toning is really attractive! It depends on collector’s perspective, what he or she sees in the coin might differ...
How bout we dye some Easter eggs? Peace Roy
