In 2011 Australia made a 999.9 gold Kangaroo legal tender coin that weighed 1,000 Kilograms (2,231 lbs.) and had a face value of $1,000,000. If my calculations are correct, it's worth $38,580,000 in gold value. It's 31" wide and 4.7" thick. I'm guessing this is the most valuable coin in the world.
