The High Relief Saint-Gaudens double eagle is at the top of my list. Definitely America's most beautiful coin.

I love to photograph all coins. But, I am a buffalo nickel collector so I enjoy imaging them the most. To be honest I’ve never really disliked imaging any coin as long as it’s
Pretty.
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
From a photogenic perspective only, I think the Barber series looks best. The coins suffer from less shadow and excessive highlight. They are very well balanced and always look nice.
Here are some half dollars to compare. My second favorite is the bust series. I love Franklin halves but I think they are the worst, photogenically.
As Joe said, any pretty coin is a joy to shoot and enjoy.

Lance,
The 1917 is breathtaking. I love that coin. I must find a WL with a similar look.

There are many beautiful and photogenic coins... as evidenced in the preceding posts. However, if I had to choose the number one in that area, I would have to agree with @PerryHall, the High Relief St. Gaudens double eagle would take the prize. Cheers, RickO
I want to agree with @ricko!! But I am torn because of the 1918 Illinois reverse... The Gobrecht dollar ... the liberty cap half cent ... The Indian gold eagle ... The Morgan dollar ... Aaaahhh I can't decide!!!

Pretty.
Buffalo and Jefferson nickels. I also find BN and RB Lincolns photogenic but difficult to photograph.
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.

My 1929 quarter eagle in my opinion is the most beautiful coin currency in my collection

To me, it's gotta be toners.
Here are some photos from @poorguy who was a master at taking toner photos. I believe @AuroraBorealis has this wonderful coin now.
Here's one of @tradedollarnut's old avatars. I'd love to see this in person some time.
