Have you ever seen a Lincoln cent or Indian head cent like these?

What do you guys think of these? I saw them at the local coin shop and picked them up for cheap. Is the Indian a filled die? They marked it as such. What about the Lincoln? They called it a bad mix of metals.
The world meets no one half way. If you want it you have to go get it.

1) Die Fill
2) Die scratches
3) Damage on a real die fill error seen in 1
4) Improper Alloy Mix, Super Nice example BTW!
Yes. The Indian is from a grease-filled die that filled the middle numbers in the date. the Lincoln is from an improperly mixed alloy. If there are a lot of these stripes, they get the nickname "Woody", because they look like they have a wood grain.
The coin shop was right.
And lucky you to get the deal of the day. Peace Roy

Thanks guys, I figured they were too interesting to pass up on....especially for a dollar each!
Good buys. Price was right.
Nice pick-ups.
Cool to see a woodgrain Lincoln in red!
Nice pick ups for your 'educational' cabinet...Cheers, RickO

i posted this one earlier this year.
how does a indian head cent get circulated for this long without someone pulling it out earlier? I'm just surprised that the coin is so circulated. And I do like the red "woody" cent. No way I could pass either one of them by at that price.
I'll buy that for a dollar.
