Seated quarter - Guess the Date!

Here is the reverse of a Liberty Seated quarter I just purchased. I posted it in the "Post Your Seated" thread, but I think it's cool enough to get its own thread.
This coin has several distinguishing characteristics visible in the pics. In addition, this coin has Medal Alignment (reverse rotated about 180 degrees). Care to tell me what date is on the obverse, and what's special about this coin? No fair spoiling the game if you're a die-hard LSCC member who reads the forum over there.

All of the above are correct in some way.

I can narrow it down, its not 1840 LOL - 1841, 42,43,44,47,49,50,51, 52,56,57,59, or 1860.....
1854 huge O?

Yours looks about the same grade on reverse as mine but my obverse is a VG.

Here's my coin's obverse. It's not as nice as the reverse, but I still grade the coin F-15 overall. Finest known is allegedly a cleaned XF40.

Great coin, and a very rare coin indeed.
Oh, I misread what you posted. Sorry for that. I thought you were undecided between 1843-O and 1844-O!
Interesting article linked, and a very informative post overall - thanks!
@rhedden

Not as nice as yours.

Very nice coins. I also have a 1843-O large O with the same diagnostics of the die lumps. Still have not yet picked up the 1844-O rev of ‘43.
Always buying nice toned coins! Searching for a low grade 1873 Arrows DDO Dime and 1842-O Small Date Quarter.
