An example of a DDO in the wild for our new searchers.

I know roll and bag searching is really fun and can be really rewarding when you "find" that
little hidden gem. They are out there but it takes a lot of researching and then a lot more
actual searching to find them. Don't give up but understand that it is not all that easy and
you are not going to cherry one out of every handful, rollful or bagful you search through.

Here is an example of a nice DDO I snagged out of a search and what one actually looks like
raw and in the wild. This is what you want to look for :)

And here is a close up of another 41 DDO, same variety I found in a little lower grade.
Still see the DDO ?

Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

I found that a similar doubled die, the 1936 DDO-002/2-O-V, used to be fairly easy to come by in the circulated grades as I found more than a dozen looking thru 1936 cents. for some reason, tho, Die number1/1-O-IV was much more difficult to fi
