Why the additional 2% with the app? I have the app on my phone. So if my transaction is through the app on my phone I can score the additional 2%?

I hate doing anything with a phone except messaging or talking. I have found that I still get the extra 2% if I make the purchase on the mobile app, then sit down to a larger screen and make the payment on my desktop.
