Yes.
Especially when I put in a "placer" bid and then forget about it.

Not as much as the seller.
I last night saw a tough $100.00 on a bad day token sold for $.99 free shipping as the seller wrongly it.
Whew I would take a few shoe boxes full at that price.
I lost the chance to bid on a 1928 D mid AU Buffalo Nickel Friday night due to a bday party that lasted longer than expected and it sold for $5, whaaat? Yes, this has happened many times.

I use AS if line out deals.
Considering how market in tank I am sure a lot of them get away these days.
it is a fallacy to think you would have gotten the item at the next bid ... the winners max bid could have been at market value and they got a good deal because they placed their bid early.
Yes... some I missed, and more often, put a placer bid and then forgot the auction closing time...Cheers, RickO
Yes.
Been there, done that! You have to forget about it and move on!
yes, sometimes but not often the seller will put a buy it now way below wholesale. have to catch it right after it gets listed
Haha. I thought I was the only one who tortured myself in such a way.
Yep... more than once...
