It looks a little glassy or cleaned to me. Not much eye appeal. Wasn't this the issue, though different coin, that NGC trumpeted as a discovery coin a few months ago?
This is a great coin. Despite talk that it would bring about this much, I really thought/hoped it would go for more. Looks like someone got a good deal IMO...for those who play at that level, that is.

It sold for more than the AU50 and AU53 and $27,500 less than the AU55. I think $2.1 mill is a great price for it.
