How do you rotate a coin in an edge view PCGS holder?

Sorry if this was asked before, but I’ve only been able to find techniques on how to rotate a coin in the old PCGS non-edge view holders?
Anyone know how to do this?

y guess would be same as the other holders.
Turn the holder until the coin is upright, then nail the holder to a board. Two nails will be sufficient.
PS: That's "two nails" not "toe nails."
tap the corner very lightly at an angle on a hard surface. If the coin turns in the wrong direction change the edge you are taping.
My normal method is to rotate the slab, while horizontal, in little circles with my hand. Then after doing that for about 20 seconds, look at the slab again, then swear really loudly because I made the rotation worse.
I've always put the slab in the freezer for half an hour then take it out and LIGHTLY tap it on the table till the coin turns
I don't recommend extremes of temperature to preserve a coin.
Grab the slab by the label portion and slap it against the palm of your other hand. If that doesn't work slap it against your inner thigh behind the knee which should do the trick. Stay away from your groin region as if you get excited during rotation your loving this hobby too much. You must then say 5 Hail Laura's and spend the weekend off this forum as repentance.
The slabs are not gas-tight. If you put one in a freezer until it notably cools down, and then bring it out to room temperature, there will be a tendency for water vapor to condense inside the slab (even if you cannot see this by eye).

I have found that the edge view holders are much harder to rotate back in place.
I have some that are easier to rotate than others, and 1 that almost doesn't rotate at all
This just made me wonder if extreme temperatures cause the rotation in some cases...... like spending the day in the mail truck while "out for delivery". Some carriers drive around with no heat, doors open, and shorts when it's in the teens.
I use my beard trimmer to get the coins aligned. Those old rattlers, etc. tend to spontaneously spin depending on the music I am playing.
Why not take your coins for a ride and tell us what happened. Find a dirt road and don't forget to mark their position before the trip.
I hope you know that now your going to have a bunch of guys getting caught by their wives using something on their coins from her nightstand drawer that vibrates.

I wipe every slab off with a moist paper towel with windex then dry. Remember some guys in this hobby have never had a girlfriend and use their computers for more than just looking at coins.
That being the case, I recommend dipping them in 10% household bleach for 15 sec. Should kill anything.

Coins turn in holders because the earth rotates on its axis and also revolves around the sun. We don't notice the daily turning of coins because we look at them at the same time every day,..even though we don't realize it. This is shown by Albert Einstein's famous equation: T=mrRogers / neighborhood
I've shown this before. I've gotten it to work occasionally with prong holders. Lettered edge bust half dollars were minted without a collar. Their size varies and so will your success rotating them.
If the coin was not just carelessly mounted by PCGS then it rotated once and should rotate again. It takes patience.

That’s pretty wild!! My dentist better not pull that stunt on my teeth when I go see him next week.
Interesting solutions. It's too bad this has to be a discussion, maybe PCGS should fix the problem in the first place. Until then, I've found the best way is to tap the corner of the slab on the hard rubber steering wheel of my car. Sometimes I need to tap them pretty hard but it always works for me.

Maybe there is something that can be done to the edge of the gasket or the inside of the holder during the manufacturing process to prevent rotation.
