1990 penny unsure of cause for appearance

I originally thought this was stamped on a foreign planche
t but after weighing it it is a typical 2.5g. It is slightly bubbled and has odd rims, I'm not sure if it is error or just a victim of dryer damage. Thanks in advance

Could be natural wear, or maybe acid washed.
Closer images of obv and rev would be nice. Shoulder scuff looks like pmd. Peace Roy

@Danilee219 ...Welcome aboard. Your coin is the result of PMD - Post Mint Damage... no added numismatic value. There are many possible causes...Cheers, RickO

Not a error coin... I believe you are right in your way of thinking that It is a dryer coin.
Not an error coin.....sorry
I appreciate the responses, I wish I could take a decent picture of just how bowed it is. The reverse is really noticeable in hand. And the entire composition feels odd. I'll keep it as an interesting piece In my book even if it holds no value. Thanks

Your pictures are excellent. That's why we can tell it is a damaged coin by using the images you posted. Keep searching and Good Luck!
It was probably pressed into a good luck charm, eventually popped out and whoever found it put it back into circulation.

Agree with the above.
Another way to approach it is, how could it be an error, or how could it have been made at the mint? There is no way that I can think of.
Good pics, and it is OK to keep coins that have no value - I do it all the time! Sometimes they are very minor errors or other times they are damaged but I keep them for reference.
@Danilee219
It's a good thing to save it... mine are kept in my coin collection.. I call them educational pieces..
Like now...I will show you my dryer coin. For your for your comparison. Good luck.
