Breaking News. 30 other MacCoins issued

ScarsdaleCoinScarsdaleCoin Posts: 5,445 ✭✭✭✭✭

That’s right it’s not 5 coins because they are also in 6 other languages. That’s 6 x 5
30 more pieces so a COMPLETE SET is 35 pieces

I don't think that's correct. The multiple languages are on each coin. There are 7 languages on each coin.

I am amazed at how much interest this program has generated. By the time I get to MacDonald's they will likely be out of them... Oh well, the only thing I get there is a sausage/egg Mcmuffin.... Cheers, RickO

@Paradisefound Spam is a Monty Python thing. Almost all American males 'of a certain age' respond to certain cues from Monty Python.

Wow! I have no idea. From the article:

"Hoping to cash in on Hawaii’s love affair with the pinkish meat product, Burger King last month began offering Spam for breakfast — going head-to-head with rival McDonald’s, which has been featuring Spam in the islands for years."

I suppose spam and pineapple might work....

I like a Big Mac once in a while (but NOT five times in a weekend), but I would have a hard time encouraging someone to eat their first one. Unfortunately I only have my set of five with no duplicates, but if people have extras maybe we can take up a collection to send Paradise a set of tokens so she does not have to torture herself?

I have to fry up some spam a couple of times a year. I serve it with jasmine rice.

Same with eating at White Castle. I have to do it to remind myself why I don't do it often.

We don't have White Castle locally. I can sure eat it. I'll bet that more than 50% of my visits to White Castle were between 1 A.M. and 4 A.M.

...slow processing up here.....What is the 'certain age'? Early twenties by then the '70's?
I am trying to better relate if I know the range ;)

Mostly males from the '70's who's humor progressed to about the 15 years old level, then stayed there. All the rest are just stragglers...

And now, for something completely different.

@Paradisefound I would guess age 75 to 55 today. The ends of those age groups are shaky - my 55 year-old brother remembers some of Monty Python, but not like I do (I'm four years older than him). Going to college exposed you more to Monty Python too, compared to staying on the farm.

My brother lives there (El Cajon) and I was there last year. I didn't notice them, but maybe next time I'm out there I'll definitely try that!

...yup...I know there is a lot of folks who need to watch what they eat, but watch this real quick...sometimes you just need to eat like a grown-ass-man, and then let your body do what it does...while asleep in bed shortly afterward ;)
