~ Copper 4 The Weekend™ ~

This 181 year old copper is the Only example of Lyman Low's Original 183 Hard Times Token varieties to ever be graded with a RED designation by NGC. I also own the ex: Gilbert Steinberg 1989 Stacks sale RB example which was described in the auction catalog as "cartwheel luster with a liquid fire effect" and this example below in hand makes it's flame level seem extinguished.

Even though this is brass it has toned a nice coppery color and actually is quite pl on both sides.
You would never know it from my pics
But I have seen this Merchant mules with a few other reverse, such as Washington and a few others and they attribute it to Scoville. I'm wondering then this too would be made from them?

Herez my HT-34's........
Sorry, I posted non copper and took it down.

But low and behold, I found one I own.
Some very nice copper here.... Just looked at a store token I have had stuck away for a long time... dated 1956... so contemporary compared to these...Cheers, RickO
