Mine:
The above Silver from last weekend. Yesterday was for Reds (Pictured below is the largest of the five Reds (Sockeye Salmon) I pulled from the water.)
Hopefully cleaning these Reds won't turn them RB or Blue-Toned.

What you eventually do to those will result in brown.
P.S. Is my envy showing?

Do you ship express, and will it still be hot when it arrives?
P.S. I will need two servings, plus a few bites for our dog.
Needs to be silver, not keta, or else a SNAD....
Enjoy your meal!

Fish never tastes better than a good shore lunch over a campfire in the wilderness.
Walleyes, whitefish - the best.
Miss my father who loved fishing north of Wisconsin.

Ready to fillet the "Big Red":
Wow, looks delicious !!!
Looks like you had fun.
Hoard the keys.
Nice fish! What did you catch the sockeye on?
Dinner served:
What a family fun and the catch provides many meals
Fried rice for me please @northcoin .... I'll bring your favorite beverage
I love it when a thread goes OT, and everyone loves it! Where did you catch them? I'm envious too.
Now that’s silver I can sink my teeth in!
Sockeye is the very best salmon.... Used to fish for salmon out of San Francisco and also Seattle....Silver salmon are ok.. but for flavor, Sockeye is the King...Cheers, RickO
The Reds are Kenai River Reds I caught. The Silver was ocean sourced from Prince William Sound.
It does look tasty!

The Sockeye "Red" Salmon bounty proves to be the gift that keeps on giving. Locally grown lettuce for the salad, as well as broccoli and cauliflower from a nearby garden and then fresh cut rhubarb for the pie.
I'll need driving directions for lunch. I'm on the road now.

None for me, thanks. I'll stick to shellfish.
It is refreshing to see that some in the hobby eat more than hot dogs with mustard.

First it was Silver. Then toned Red. Now for the "Blast White" group with the trifecta complete with this week's Halibut bounty from the waters:
Cool - fun to see the kids involved!
Thanks. Both of the pictured boys caught their limit of 2 each.
Here's a fish scale for ya that I just hooked
Yum! I’ve fished for salmon thrice in Ketchikan and had a blast every time. It’s been a while though...
Congratulations for being the first to respond to the OP's challenge!
I guess for equal time the Halibut also deserves depiction meal ready. Nothing tops fresh caught broiled Halibut.
Just returned from a hike up the backside of a mountain. Added bounty of blueberries, though had to share the picking with this fellow:
... and the eating with this one:
If one looks closely, there appear to be at least two other bears "hiding" in the brush.
Here is another view that may be more helpful. Using the bear in the foreground as the center of the clock, look up to 10 o clock and to 12 o clock.
What a "fishy" thread.
The last silver I got was from a Coinstar, a 1964-D Dime.

Funny thing, I just got two lbs. of lake perch shipped from from Wisconsin today. Live in VA. Born in Wisconsin.
My grandson proud of his bass.
Is this Homer?
I think I got a Fish story from the seller, he claimed that he paid 2x spot for it.
Yes
I have fond memories of fishing for salmon, trout and steelhead in northern California in the 70's. Great eating! Terrible about Yosemite and all the other fires. Peace Roy

Also born in Wisconsin, retired to NC. Miss perch fishing and especially the local fish fry on Fridays. Walleye is tasty too.
But NC is no slouch when it comes to seafood, lots to choose from.

So true. Two lbs of lake perch arrived yesterday.
Salmon and wild blueberries, OMG, I'M Hungry now.
Good thing I am defrosting Halibut I caught a few months ago to make Fish Burritos for dinner tonight.
Cool I am from Kenai a fellow Alaskan I like it!
Just got back from 10 days in Alaska, including 5 around Kenai.
You are blessed to live there....in summer at least.
We took home lots of reds and a few pinks -- but no sliver.
That bar is AWESOME!!!
