This is my 6th Year of working on this set and when I started I decided to get the Varieties First than worry about the regular coins later. Now we all know in the past 6 years the prices have been dropping on MS 67 coins with the introduction of the + program. The biggest thing I was taught when I started this set is to NOT just buy a coin to fill the hole and than pay to buy a upgrade later.

I also did not have the idea that I needed to be Number 1. I am building this set because I Love this Series. I also learned from others to not get buried in the coins we buy. This not only includes the varieties but all the regular coins too. Cherrypicking to me has always meant buying a coin you loved for cheaper than the guide. This is a 185 coin set and adding this coin has me down to 55 coins to go. Woohoo...….

This 1946 DDR 801 has a population of only 4 coins with 3 of those being MS and the other AU 58. My coin ties one other for Top Pop and is another Great Study Piece for me.

Enjoy Tom
