Another GreySheet question.

Has anyone chosen the online subscription for the new-format GreySheet?? If so, how does it print on a standard printed page and would you recommend getting it in that format vs. the mailed version??
The reason I ask is because in the old format we kept it in three-ring binder and my boss would like to go back to that for convenience and protection. I looked around at the CDN site and saw a blog post that suggested reducing the size of print to about 74% in the printer properties, apparently that is the size that prints it nicely. My worry would be that doing this would reduce the print to where it's too small, a problem that the new owners have solved for the eyes of the aged coin dealer population.
So can anyone share their experience with printing the online version?? Thanks in advance.

I have the online subscription.
I tried printing it at one time and did not like the result. It doesn't quite fit on standard 8-1/2x11 if you print it straight and if you shrink it, some of the type is pretty small. I just use it online because I can always blow it up on my phone or computer. It's a little annoying to scroll through the 120 pages on the phone, but at least I can control the font.
All comments reflect the opinion of the author, even when irrefutably accurate.
I would suggest getting used to the print version. It's large and bulky, but certainly easier to read.

My subscription allows me to download the greysheet on my iPad. From there I can enlarge the print so it is easy to read.

Good news to all... The August issue is totally redesign (again) to print at around 96% on standard page for those with download accounts). The printed edition (far superior) is now printed in magazine-quality paper, high rez color, etc. It fits in about the same size as a Numismatist magazine. The content is the same as we offered in the past 3 months. Everything in a single issue. Here's a blog post with a little more info. link

Yes. We offer as PDF download for online subscribers as well as the printed copy. All we ask is that subscribers do NOT share their PDF's. That has been a real problem for us.

@JohnF would never do that. Only drives cost up for the rest of us!!!

Also, use the "print to fit" option and 0.5-inch margins in your printer setup dialog. If you want to hole punch the paper, use the gutter or binding offset option for odd & even pages. (Buying holed paper simplifies things, too. Just avoid the duplex Holy Paper that you can print on or use for communion.)
Well that was nice.... obviously the CDN people listen to customer feedback and adjust their service to please their base. Cheers, RickO
