I think he means "old time collection."

But maybe it's one of these:

    Orbiter test conductor
    Ornithine transcarbamylase

    One Thousand Children
    Open Text Corporation
    Oriental Trading Company
    Oshkosh Truck Corporation

    OTC Markets Group
    Offshore Technology Conference
    Officer in tactical command
    Officers' Training Corps

    Ohio Turnpike Commission
    Overseas Telecommunications Commission
    Office of Transportation Cooperatives
    Oakwood Technology College

That would be a nice find.... even in that condition, IMO, it is a treasure. Cheers, RickO

Thanks, sorry old time collection "OTC". Found an 1848 quarter as well that unfortunately has been cleaned but good detail and a tough, tough date.

Oh, I suppose I should have figured that out.
For some reason, I was thinking about some kind of coin counting device, aka Coinstar or such.
Which would have made the large cent even more impressive of a find.....

I was guessing OTC = Over The Counter (as applies to buying from customers in a coin shop).

I've looked through a number of OTCs for friends and families, but have never found anything quite like that. Most have been to see.

Any other "random" coins like that?

I'd love to know what you paid for it?

@dollarafterdollar, I'm still trying to price the collection out, couple thousand dollars of 90%, lots of lower end items 80's mint and proof sets, cull / AG IHC's, then a few coins like the 1795, some bust and seated coinage, an 1878 cc dollar etc. I'm not a large cent collector but I can't image it grades better than an fr 2 / AG 3. Will most likely make an offer on the whole thing but don't know if I want the headache of moving lots of under $5 items.

The low value (under $5) items will grind time and money when you try to sell them. Take that into consideration when you make your offer. Don't bury yourself in cheap "stuff".

    All glory is fleeting.

AKA an 'open top container' . . . Just saying.

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
