Need some help with this 1945-S Washington Quarter.

I recently started the Washington Quarter collection, and have been hitting it pretty hard. I have not gotten to the very expensive ones yet, but I have put a pretty good dent in the entire set. I picked up this 1945-S, and the mint mark does not look correct to me. It may just be my eyes playing tricks, there was no error or variety notation in the listing when I bought it,but I am nowhere near an expert, or even very experienced with these. It looks like it has the ball-serif on top and the trumpet tail on bottom? I've been looking at Wexler's website but cannot find an exact match. Again this may not be anything but I could sure use some help. I have the original listing pictures, as well as pictures with my own camera (the lighting is quite different. Thanks in advance!!!

There are two 45-s 25c mm varieties: knobtail s and trumpet tail s. This coin is a knobtail s.
Thank you very much. I have not heard of the knob-tail.
Welcome to the boards!

I appreciate yall's comments and taking a look! I have been working on the Washingtons for a couple months now, have all business strikes from 41-98, and proofs from 50-98. I like to try and find varieties when I can, mainly I just enjoy the beauty of the coins. I will have many more questions I'm sure!!!
@coastalpride85...Welcome aboard.... Good question and excellent pictures. Cheers, RickO
Sometimes it is called "ball serif S."
