My Birthday Is Coming Up: Post Your Best 1949-Dated Coin or Set

Moved to correct forum.
In a short time I'll be 69! I have always liked the 1949-dated U.S. coins. Many of the ones that were issued are rather low-mintage, and some are real condition rarities in high grades or with Full Bell Lines, like notably the 1949-D Franklin halves. And there are some curious gaps in the mintages of the three mints that were active at that time. San Francisco didn't make any Washington quarters. And the 1949-S cent, 1949-D and -S nickels, the 1949-S dime, and all of the quarter and half dollar issues are considered low-mintage relative to their series. There is a cool overmintmark known, the 1949-D/S nickel, and on and on.
I am sure some of my fellow old and young codgers on this site are working on / have worked on 1949 Mint Sets.
Please share your coolest 1949-dated U.S. coin in celebration of my Big Day! Mrs. VDB and I are going to have a nice lunch at a local prime rib hangout.
Kind regards,
George

Happy Birthday my new friend! I looked through some pieces I kept out of circulation hoping to find a 49 dated something, but to no avail. The only coins I have at the moment are the couple of Morgans I have posted on here, an uncirculated Steel Cent trio of P,D,S and a full Lincoln Set 1909-1958 that I inherited from a deceased family member. I want to tell you more about that story in Dalton. Anyway, I knew there would be one in there but I don't know how to get the coins out of this binder!? I took a poor picture with it still encased. I will probably never learn how to take coin pictures! Lol.
@Hallco A for Effort!
Kind regards,
George

Happy birthday coin brother. You have me beat by 3 years. Enjoy the day
Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday! Hopefully you won't mind a centennial dedication to your year of birth. It's the only thing I have bearing the '49 date...

Unfortunately I have no coins dated 1949 to share with you (1849, maybe, but not 1949), but I do have one other thing I am more than happy to share with you - our common birth year, 1949. It seems that I beat you here by a few months (March is my birth month). I hope that you enjoy your special day, and the prime rib, and have many more years spent on this side of the grass.
Still the 14th our West George so Happy Birthday!!!
Wait'll you hit 70 next next year bud.

Yay! Yay! Thanks for all the cards, coins, and good wishes!
I am celebrating today by conducting our men's choir at church in a TTBB (2 tenor parts, 2 bass parts) in "I'm Gonna Ride the Chariot" while singing a high first tenor part/solo (and I'm really a high baritone). Kind of like rubbing your tummy and patting your head at the same time. (But hopefully I won't take that ride for a long time yet!) It seemed like a good idea to do it when I committed to it--but my brain has been in G major for five weeks. I can bounce out of bed and accurately sing the starting pitch (and I don't have perfect pitch). But I'll be glad when it's over, I think. I love the singing, but the anticipation will kill ya. Yet, I know the congregation will love it. Such is the life of a performer.
After is a burger and fries at Chili's (and tomorrow I get back on the program). Both Mrs. VDB and Saturn and Neptune gave me birthday cards this morning!
The boys were so excited!
Well .. actually ... OK ... I did buy myself one little numismatic gift, even though it has nothing to do with my birth year.
AU55 PCGS and not all beat up like so many are.
Many happy returns,
George
