Question about foreign coins.......

It has been a while since I have posted here.
Trying to help the kids with the Lincoln cent collection has been fun.
Working more and being outside more has kept me away from the internet which is great because I am not big on screen time.
I was wondering about a foreign coin though.
I saw this today at an antique store.

It was under $10 and was tempted to add it to our collection but I don't know anything about it.
I know that just because it is old does not mean it is worth a lot but I was wondering what a good price would be for it.

Very common late Roman bronze. I sell them retail for $8 out of a bin or might be less for a young person learning. They are great learning tools if you have the time to research the emperor and have fun with it. Get the kids involved, otherwise they are extremely common. The age does add cool factor for kids though.

Thank you for the help. I appreciate it.
I still have a lot to learn about the coins.
I like being able to teach my kids different things about history and coins are pretty cool to teach them about.
Thank you again for your help

Nice old coin, and when the kids understand the time period, and relate it to history, they will be captivated. Cheers, RickO

They generate interest even though they are actually quite common. The condition of the coin you show in the photo is below average for hoard coins of that era. I wouldn't go over $5 for it.

    All glory is fleeting.
