    Agreed. Some simply beautiful coins and Dale is one of the truly "good guys".

    My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.

    I would love to have a few of the gem toners (1830 and 1823 come to mind) and the 1807 Draped Bust. How much toning premium will these likely get at auction?

    Why break them up in several auctions? Why not one large auction?

    Almost 100 superlative, very pricey coins will sell better over several auctions, spread out. It's a proven strategy.

    There are so many incredibly beautiful, high grade scarce coins it's hard to guess which will top the list. Surely the ultra rare 1796 and 1797 bust halves will be there. Along with the MS61 1794 and 1815/2 MS64.

    I would love to pick up one or two of Dale's coins. They are all so wonderful I'd be happy with most any blind wins.

    Should be a great auction. Dale is a smart, patient long term collector and the collection shows it.

    Tahoe collection? Hmm. I'm not into Bust Halves but I'll have to check it out. Any Morgans? :D For those that know what my username is in referance to, you know that a "Tahoe collection" would interest me and I'm not that into "collection" or "hoard" coins.

    Looks like the whole set was recently regraded. Not surprised, as I’m sure he got some upgrades by sending the whole set in all together.

    Beautiful collection, indeed! Would love to own any of them.

    The entire set seem to have consecutive certificate numbers. Is that a first?

    Dale was always a true gentleman whenever we bumped into each other. My very first coin show I had drinks with Dale, his wife, Larry Shepherd and Gregg Bingham. Dales wife and I talked about shoes and the senior fellas talked about coins. Of course with my other ear I soaked up every word they said and tried to implement them into my collecting strategy. That sit down remains one of the highlights of my collecting career to this day
