    With standardless standards and evolving grading standards per the experts here, it is tough to guess what any service would call it. If I were buying it, I would buy it as a MS63.

    I'd call it a 64 that might have been a cross over from an old 1st gen ANA ANACS MS-63 holder or possibly an early NGC 63 no line fatty.

    It's nearly MS, and the way coins are graded now I am quite confident it graded MS.
    The TPGs should simply eliminate "MS" from the holders and put only a number.

    I agree that is what it looks like but I would wager that is not what it got graded as.

    there are no scratches as shown on slab, some lite chatter hence 63 most likely, as the reverse is a lock 65.
    The TV is very accurate in this case - just super nice eye appeal.

    I was surprised at first to see the wide range of grades - I guess I get it.

    Def a keeper.

    Oh, and did I say CAC liked it too? :#
