Finally! Gold!

TreashuntTreashunt Posts: 6,748 ✭✭✭✭✭

Sunday started as any other day recently, a bunch of coins, but far fewer that normal.

I worked my patterns along the beach, parallel to the tide line, mostly dry sand.
Nothing in the water or waves line.

Finally, first this year:

much later, this kept falling out of the scoop:

shown inside the ring for size.

the ring, I believe is 18kt.

the small, tiny charm is marked: S925ALE
and on the other side: G.585 = 14 kt.
just abut one cent of gold there, but hey, gold is gold.

1st gold of the year.
Getting tough out there

    or 11.5 gr

at yesterday's close of $1254 per oz, that is melt of $347.98

Wow! Just wow! Now that’s a ring! Is it a Cartier? Those rings command a nice premium.

The heart pendant is a Pandora one I believe. I found a ring that had “ale” and it turned out to be Pandora. Worth looking into.

I don't see a maker's mark one it, but I'll try to research it, thanks for the info
On the charm, no note of maker, but-- lets hope.

    Thanks for posting

Look up "Cartier Love ring" online or eBay. I'd think Cartier would be marked, but worth checking into.

I found it, very similar, but it could be an earlier design.
    Thanks
