1857 Obverse of 1856 FS-401b Cherrypick - Value?

I was just at my LCS and picked up some great coins including two 1920-S two feather buffalo nickels for $3 combined and a 1937-S quarter for melt. However, the best find has to be this:
This is an 1857 Obverse of 1856 in G-6 condition IMO. There is no RPD visible so it is a FS-401b.
Thoughts on value? I bought it for $18.

How is the obverse of 1856 different from that of 1857?

Thanks! I never knew there was a difference but there clearly is ... and it doesn't take a magnifying glass to see the changes!

I like looking for them, and have cherried a couple of them over the years. Yours is a nice example for the price IMO. This variety may be as close as I ever get to an 1856 Flyer. Recently bought an ANACS attributed one in VF-30 to upgrade from a fine one I found back in 2010.
If you think about it, these were the first reduced-size cents ever made for mass production and circulation in the United States. Isn’t that great?

I always thought the number one diagnostic for an obv of 56 was a 6 in the date but it appears I might have been wrong.
Now if one said hub type of 56 I might be swayed
