My first reaction was AU 57.3. Upon further review of the closeups and channeling my inner Insider 2, I'd like to up my grade to 63. But really, the photos have me completely baffled about luster versus toning versus friction on that coin. Based on the photos, that's I'd like to buy that coin in AU plastic and sell it in MS. lol

Its like this. AU55 is not even close. Remember this is a coin that was struck at Philly in 1925.

Ok. I'm going by how I read the images. I don't have the coin in hand and the date it was struck has nothing to do with the condition. If I had different images that show off the luster better, my opinion might change. I'm simply going off what I am reading from the current images and I happened to agree with @DIMEMAN.

This has nothing to do with luster or brilliance. This coin should not be MS anything due to circulation marks all over the coin. I know what UNC is supposed to look like.

If PCGS graded this UNC......I have a bunch of AU's that I am really upset about! Really.

The chatter on the cheek and in the hair says AU 58. The bands are not completely split.

My 65fb has rusted dies both sides. It gave the whole obverse a textured-sand blasted look. Not great pics, just my phone.
Kens has some additional die issues, especially on the top of her cap and lower cheek.

There is a difference between rusted dies and circ marks. I'm not trying to be a hard case here. JMHO.

MS something but a tough coin to actually sell at an MS grade due to lack of eye-appeal.
