Some old quarters and nickels

I was given these five coins in the late 50s. I am mostly interested in the wonky quarter, which the donor described as a genuine aluminium quarter from 'the war'. He did not specify which war. The quarters are so circulated/damaged that I cannot read a date from them, but they are obviously the same version of the quarter (to this Australian eye).
I included the three quarters and flipped them accurately to show that the face and the obverse line up properly. There is also a photo showing how the edge of the wonky quarter has been grooved around its circumference. I do nor have very accurate scales, but all three quarters weigh 6 grams.
I would be grateful for anything that you can tell me about the coins, and if any of them have any monetary/numismatic value.

The quarters appear to be worth the silver value, slightly less than $3 US each. The nickels are maybe a few dollars each if not damaged. Certainly worth saving but not so much for the collector. I can't read the dates on the Nickels and if you can just do a quick search for sold sales on ebay to find accurate values. Condition is everything on them as they do not wear well in circulation.

Nope, no aluminium unless fake. Standing Liberty Quarters and V Liberty Nickels all in rough shape.
Can you take a pic of the quarters heads? You never know some here will know what I'm looking for. When looking at worn no date standing liberty quarters look for this, it can pay off some times.
Even with no date you can tell by looking for this some will think it's just junk silver but can be more. Just me dumb Type2 showing you a bit or a two bit to look for.

@Spuddo.....Welcome aboard....As mentioned above, there were no aluminum quarters produced, in any war.... To truly give you an assessment of your coins, would require much better pictures....Or you could also get a Redbook to evaluate what you have... Will you be collecting U.S. coins, or are these just an acquisition of opportunity? Cheers, RickO
