The 1889 bag, if they are nice like the one they show, will be the money bag! It's tough to tell from the washed out image, but it looks 67, (or better) making it a minimum 15K coin.

The 1933 double eagles probably were found in a SDB - where would you keep them?
And, unlike the 33 20's, Morgan dollars are LEGAL to own.
I don't think those Double Eagles were 'found' in a SDB rather they were likely 'stored' there knowing that they would have ownership challenged at some point.

Possibly, viewing the coins from this little group will help remind modern collectors of the color and quality of original silver coins.
The overall condition will likely be lower for any non-Mint bagged coins, since these coins will have been handled, counted and banged around in repackaging.

Garrett said the hoard should bring on average between $65 and $90 per coin. Do you really want to buy a common date Morgan $. Keep in mind the big GSA CC Hoard sold in 1979 and 1980 for the most part had really ugly low grade Uncs. 8 of the 12 coins I bought from that hoard were so ugly, it was painful to look at them. I sold them to Superior for what I paid for them.

They probably were stored in the huge vault at 120 Broadway in lower Manhattan.
Years ago, I did some business with the late Jules Karp, and he had an office in the vault.
That was a unique experience.
