Thank you for the heads-up on the counterfeited coins and slabs. There is no better feeling than helping to get them taken down.

    We are lucky for having quite a few coin detectives here. I am for sure benefitted by their works. :)

    The forum members here do provide a valuable service in this respect (and others as well). Some of the fakes out there today are truly frightening in quality.... Cheers, RickO

    Parenthetically, all of the counterfeits have been on eBay, at least all I remember.

    A couple of major auction houses have had a few of the deceptive slabbed ones.
