Grade help for 1948 S Roosevelt Dime raw
If you would please give me your opinions as to the grade for this roosie. Its in my birth year centennial set and just noticed the toning. It originally came out of a mint set I bought at a coin show in the 80's. The others have toned some but not this much. Also, here is a pic of my one and only toned Morgan, used to have many, but stuff happens. Just your opinion as to its color and not the grade, the face shows the grade immediately.
Thanks
Jim

Dime: 65+
$: Beautiful.
Judging from the pictures, I would say the dime is 65...no FB.... Not a fan of the tarnish and do not think it would rate a +. Cheers, RickO
Look 65 to me too.
Dime: 66 FB
Morgan: 62/3
65 no FB.
Dime looks 66 FB to me. Toning is neutral. The Dollar is quite nice but remember, for some reason buyers want the Obverse toned. Reverse toning carries a much smaller premium.
The dime looks like a 65 with decent but not spectacular toning.
I just bought the Morgan for the toning. I used to have many, but they were sold over the years. Now I have one.

MS64/5 No Bands
Later, Paul.
Dime 64+/5
Dollar: nice color but not on the money side
Don't dip! Seriously, leave them alone. I would be surprised anyone would suggest otherwise.
MS65 on the dime. MS63 on the dollar if you want my expert opinion.
