I wear noise canceling headphones. Too much noise around my area. It breaks my concentration time and time again and I got tired of it so I went for broke on some good headphones.

Every time when I added a new coin into collection, this song came to mind as it sang to me.
I made it through the wilderness
Somehow I made it through
Didn't know how lost I was
Until I found you
I was beat
Incomplete
I'd been had, I was sad and blue
But you made me feel
Yeah, you made me feel
Shiny and new
Hoo, Like a virgin
Touched for the very first time
Bob Seger is doing better and going to finish his cancelled tour. The wife & I will be on the second row center. He still puts on a good show at 73 or 74.
I am a fan of jazz... for quiet listening and reflection. Sometimes, when working around the house, I like a bit of old style country - keeps me moving. For the most part, unless I am driving, I prefer quiet. And I never, repeat never, walk around with headphones - inside or outside. I want to know what is happening around me...Cheers, RickO
Depending on my mood,
I go to the www.Accuradio.com app on my computer and select whatever I fancy that day. You name it, any type of music, from A-Z, oldies, organ music, simply , you name it is there. I use the output on the sound card and connet it to the input on my stereo amp. And the house fills with whatever music I select. Can you imagine, Duane Eddy-Guitar Boggy ? or elvis jailhouse rock? or the beach boys?
and the best part is, it is absolutely F R E E without spam!
I have been on this "instrumental" kick the last couple of months. There is just something gratifying about concentrating on the music and not the vocals...no disrespect to the vocalists.
The Who - The Real Me

does it count if there is yodeling but otherwise no words?
as far as pure instrumentals go can't beat Frankenstein , in this live version watch edgar jam on keyboard sax drums and fiddle the amps and if that isn't impressive enough remember he later went on to star in every single harry potter film

I use the roar of an ore grinder that is drowning out rap "music." That is soooo soothing.

While the "BIG GUYS" rest, drink, and barbecue, the "little guys" try harder. It's too bad the PO is closed Monday.
