I am a veteran. This weekend is not for those of us who remain, but for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. A lot of people forget what Memorial Day is intended for, its to memorialize the soldiers who gave their life while serving our nation.
I thank active duty and veterans all the time for their service. It’s not often we get to thank those who are no longer here. I have the utmost appreciation and admiration for those who were brave enough to give their lives to protect our way of life. To those fallen soldiers I say thank you, you will never be forgotten.
