The three holes I had to fill didn’t line up with Dales best coins unfortunately. I think he struggled on the same few coins as I have encountered

For those of us not in the loop, is this a serious comment or a joke?
It’s a joke. Dale works for cnn. He was giving Dale the business

It was a joke. I work at cnncoins. It was not meant to be taken seriously, just a tongue in cheek gesture by a fellow co-worker, that obviously could be misconstrued. I was very pleased by the results of my Walkers in the Legend Regency Auction. Thanks to all individuals who placed bids on my coins.

Ok I bought one and I don't even own any Walkers. 1943-s the obv has a few spots some people might not like, but the color, monster reverse, and price couldn't pass on.

Not alone in being thrilled you did so well.

DMWJR,
The 43-S you won, was not one of mine. But, is a very nice purchase indeed! I like the colors, and may get you started on finding more colorful ones in the future.

Oh, I didn't realize that. I wanted the 43 in 67+ but it went out of range. Then nobody was really bidding on the 43-s, I guess because of the 65 grade, so I raised the ol' paddle once and that was it.
Doug where were you in the room ? I was the last row against the wall. Where you the guy in front of me?

I was on the back row to the right facing the podium with my wife, who was also bidding She wanted to bid on the proof Hawaiian ... but we couldn't negotiate it She has quite the Hawaiian coin collection! You must have been sitting just to my right. Laura and the Legend crew had the other corner blanketed.

@cnncoins - You're very good-natured for a boss whose employee refused his offer of double CDN for the deal.
Nic obviously did not know I was joking with my employee....I love his coins but I love Dale more.

He's usually not this bitter about losing out on a good deal. I think he's angry at himself for not offering Dale triple bid.

Nice try at covering, but nooooooo. Dale told me that if I helped, Chris could be embarrassed into giving him a raise
