Ask the seller
Gabe **You are totatly clueless as to error and everthing else. How are we supposed to know. You bought the item. Do some independent research **
Again check his previous posts and decide for yourself If i am to harsh on this guy!
If your capable post a link to auction.
Not a rare date. If you bothered to look at PCGS price list which runs high imo it is a $13 coin in xf. Do some research yourself. Lots of "rare dates" on eBay aren't rare at all. Look it up, it isn't that hard.
I hope you didn't pay a "rare dime" price if it is not a rare coin, but otherwise it is a nice dime to have. I always liked Mercury dimes.
I looked for it on pcgs and other sites and the product came from an estate sale so he did list that much in the description https://m.ebay.com/itm/1920-P-Mercury-Dime-Rare-Date-US-Mint-Silver-Coin-/372302613983?txnId=0
And your right I am clueless I have autism.
Not rare!
I'm sorry I'm new to all this and still working on getting better I'm not trying to waste anyone time.
Your cool, there's a few old cranky guys around here that get a rise out of belittling new members. Perhaps the seller thought this was a rare date, or maybe tried to market it as such to increase the sales price. Unfortunately 59 million + produced in 1920 so not rare at all.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
WELCOME ABOARD! I don't care or know. I'm just trying to get my posting number REALLY, REALLY high. WELCOME ABOARD?
I see RARE on almost all CC Morgan dollars. When in fact none of them are RARE, Rare or even rare.

I think it's rare to see such nice handwriting on a coin holder.
Not a rare date. Sellers of coins often put the words “rare” or “key date” or “PQ” on the 2 x 2 to attempt to make the buyer think their coin is better than others. Usually, they end up being worse. The images seem to be scans, not pics. Just my opinion, I would stay away from this listing. Can’t see the coin well enough to tell if it’s been cleaned or not.

Op has different seller?
Please invest in some coin books... for example, a Redbook... that is a basic requirement for coin collectors. Do research even on the internet... and of course, here on the forum. Cheers, RickO
The Graysheet value on the coin you paid $15 for is $4.00 in XF40 condition. Full retail would be $5-6. Many sellers on e-Bay are just waiting to take advantage of the uninformed. You paid enough for this coin to buy "A Guide Book of United States Coins" AKA The Redbook. They are available at any major book store and the 2019 hardcover edition is available on Amazon for 13.88 with free shipping if you or a family member has Prime. "Buy the book before the coin unless you want to get took!"
There a lot of folks here trying to help you get started in this fun and interesting hobby but you also have to be willing to help by educating yourself.
1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
$15 is very cheap tuition at least.
Collector, occasional seller
I agree. Purchase a Red Book and you will be on your way to knowledge and bigger and better things.
