Sea;ed 1 oz gold Pandas

Ten years ago I bought sealed Gold Pandas.
From time to time I wonder if they are worth getting slabbed?
Since I have no plans to sell them, will it store better in the plastic sheets or slabs?

I think a perfect fit capsule will do unless you are looking to grade it. Welcome to the forum
I usually prefer original govt packaging but I am not 100% sure what the soft plastic sheets are made of, especially coming from China.
@jkrk ....Welcome aboard.... I would keep them in airtites...Cheers, RickO
Some panda rounds hold a large premium over others. Especially gold. If they're great strikes and get more money when slabbed then go for it. Check ebay for raw rounds vs slabs on the dates/mint(s) you have.
Airtites is probably where they belong but it's worth checking ebay.
The 1/20 Oz's from the late 90's seem to command large premiums. Low mintages I guess. Your results may differ.
Are they sealed in an unknown clear, soft or stiff, plastic material with no original mint printed card or serial number? If so the advice above is good. Air-Tites would be a good choice for maximum protection and long term storage.
If you find any larger premium for certain years in graded slabs vs simply sealed you could consider sending those in......if......they would make a 70 grade. If not, why go to the expense.
I'd leave it in the original sealed packaging. JMHO !!!
Leave in original mint packaging.
Unless you are slabbing them, I'd leave them in the original government packaging.

I would consult the gold sheet in slabbing. Slabbed 69 and 70 issues valued higher than OGP. There is an active, vibrant market for Pandas, especially Gold. Otherwise leave in OGP unless concern about pvc damage.
Many investors turning to MWG whether fed up w holder / sticker game or fact steady US Rare Coin Market Decline. The declining pop of collectors is one of my major concerns. Classic Commems dead in water.
Thanks for the input. I bought the coins over a four year period from 2008-2012, thus I received a number of different dates. None appear to be super rare..
They were all 1 oz gold coins delivered in sealed plastic sheet (which I was told was the original mint packaging) with each sheet containing 10 coins.
After reading the number of recommendations I have decided to leave the coins in the plastic sheets. Thanks for the help.
