Ok, is this Roosevelt Dime a 1975 or 1975-d?

Maybe I should make this thread a poll! I'll send a message to Ian too.

Is that a smudge or a d?
bob
Must be a smudge or ding.
I looked at the 1975-D dime in my circulated coin album and found that the 'D' on my dime is almost perfectly centered over the '5' horizontally, and pretty centered between the '5' and Roosevelt's neck vertically.
The 'mark' on this dime looks to be too small, too far to the left, and too high to be a mint mark.
It's not me.
Looks like a D to me.
Later, Paul.
Too far left from center of 5. IMO

To me, it looks like debris inside the holder.

Looks like an "S" to me.
I don't think it's a D

Why is that coin in a slab worth more than the coin?
Strange. Quite evident something is there, but what? I'm calling eyebrow dandruff.

It looks like a S to me... although it would seem the graders would have noted if it were a "D" or
an "S". Either way I can't make a distinct clarification.
Interesting !!!
There is certainly something there.... certainly not clear enough to determine what it may be... A call to the auction house would be in order for this one... Cheers, RickO
Looks like it's some debris on the coin, but it could be an S. Although I think the TPG would have spotted it if it were a D or S MM, I think the auction house should be contacted about it.
