High grade Saint, CAC or Plus?

Which designation carries more prestige for a common date Saint in MS67. All other factors being equal.
CAC approval, but no Plus grade
Or
Plus grade, but no CAC approval?

CAC for me in a heart beat. Saints in high grade have a low sticker rate.

If it's a plus grade and is fairly graded then it has a good chance of getting a CAC sticker, as CAC does not take pluses into account and gives stickers based on the base grade.

Whatever the "market" says brings more money.
If sale price is how prestige is measured, then CAC sticker hands down. If a higher ranking registry set, then the plus hands down. From my experience, the tpgs vs CAC are looking at slightly different subsets of characteristics on gold. Not willing to have your thread devolve into the usual CAC is great/sucks rehash. If you are talking about resale value, then CAC would be the winner. The market has shown that to be 'value added' ingredient that sells coins. Cheers, RickO
Whichever coin looks better in my eyes and appeals best to me, whether it has a CAC sticker or not. I like CAC as another opinion, but that's what it is. My taste and opinion matter more to me as I have to live with what I buy every time I look at the coin. Then again, I'm not worried about resale. If I did not have to like the coin and was buying for resale, CAC all the way.

I would prefer the plus. Which is rarer? Any way to look it up?

...because I never see CAC "failed" the eye appeal but have seen +designation on slightly minus than plus on some as far as eye appeal

I agree with the majority here as well, CAC!
Agree with you divecchia, any coin must appeal to me first and foremost.
With regard to the Plus Grade, I place no emphasis or premium on it whatsoever.

Sure, CAC pops vs. TPG pops. But the CAC pops won't tell you which 67's are PCGS vs. NGC nor will it discriminate between plusses and non-plusses.
For absurd comparisons, an '08NM in 68 or a '24P in 67CAC.
Try auction records for common dates in 67+
This particular market mini-niche has already made its standards clear.

Revisiting this thread, and watching auctions with "+" and CAC, the consensus here turned out to be correct: CAC wins.
I would note that it does appear that the premiums and asking prices for CAC Saints in high-grade for otherwise common coins has come DOWN in recent years. The market may realize that the coins are unlikely to get regraded 1 grade higher to a more valuable price point.
I see more coins being priced too high on a few of the sites, getting no bids or activity. I realize they have to cover commissions/S&H/other fees, but the asking prices for some fairly common Saints in high (but obtainable) grades seems a bit too high for many listings.
