Chronologically mid 60's, physically late 70's, state of mind, ~21. If I were a coin, I'd be lucky to grade out as a VF at PCGS (or maybe damaged) since I've had some serious circulation. Of course I could send myself into ANACS and become a XF or better.
Nice bell shaped distribution with the 50's at the center. Was expecting an asymmetric distribution with max at the 60's to 70's.......... Good to know it ain't so.
thank you to the 275 or so folks that replied. I actually think the forum has more grey beards as a percentage then the Long Beach Shows I attend regularly.

Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
My wife and I went to an Earth, Wind and Fire concert last night in San Jose. Most of the concert goes were in their 50's and 60's [I wonder if any on them collect coins? and voted in this thread's poll]. The performance was fantastic, the audience was up on their feet dancing (some were actually very good dancers) and having a good time. Libations were sold at concession stands but no one that I saw drank too much.
We saw a few 20 somethings in attendance. They also appeared enjoyed the show. One 20 something couple were standing up and trying to dance, but they were awkward beyond awkward.
Being a senior citizen has its benefits, one example:
An elderly gentleman had serious hearing problems for a number of years. Finally, he went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a hearing aid that restored his hearing 100%. The man went back in a month to the doctor for a checkup and the doctor said, “Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be pleased that you can hear again.” The elderly gentleman replied, “Oh, I haven’t told my family yet. I just sit around and listen to the conversation. But I have changed my will three times.”
It'd be interesting if you redid this poll in ten years if the numbers (barring, unfortunately, death) have just shifted upward, or if there is some growth in the younger categories.

can leap year babies vote twice?
Voted. And now I see there were pancakes.....
Actually that group DOES WIN. They get all our coins sooner or later.
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

Very true in that respect

Just turned 50 - tipping the bell curve
Yes I know. I think I will always feel young, as I really can’t believe I’m almost 30. I still feel like a teenager
Assuming you can not vote twice in the poll it looks like we have at least 246 good members here

Jeez, most of you are old enough to be my grandpa!
That sure does look like a perfect bell curve.

Category six (60s) at the moment. Category seven (70s) next year.
Disturbing poll as it looks as though the 'bulge' is indicative with age.

In my 70's here and my body knows it. My mind, though, says I'm 38.
