Needed some advice on this 78 D filled mint mark, with doubling inside the Lincoln memorial pillars. Also on the reverse,have fading, and this one is an eye opener. On the obverse t
here is a mystery letters which looks like V & D..

VIN. I don't know what to say. You actually should be starting to become educated with stuff here.
You have to apply yourself, and actually LEARN from your time in this forum.
Seems like you have the smarts to at least recognize stuff a little out of the ordinary, but no, you still have not been able to sort through the "chaff".
You have to keep studying and learn to bypass the stuff you post.
This Hobby takes a commitment and a LOT of research to hone your skills.

You are wasting your time and eyesight looking for very minor "errors" such as this (if it even is an error). Value of the coin shown is one cent.

That coin has experienced rough handling, often termed PMD (post mint damage). There are no mint errors or varieties on that coin - it is pocket change. Please get a Cherry Pickers Guide and a Redbook. It will save you a lot of time and trouble. Cheers, RickO
