Sales tax to NJ

Any idea why HA collect sales tax for NJ but SB don’t? AFAIK, HA do not have a POP in NJ.

Agreed on the above.
After much digging, I never found anyone at Heritage who knew the answer.
I did solve the problem, though. PM me if interested.

Why all the secrecy? Why not share the solution with the rest of us?

I agree with PerryHall.. why not share? Or is it a sneaky work around that if known, would then be prevented?

Yep...bet that is why....
Often, the reason relates to "nexus" between the seller and a state or locality. Heritage might have some connection with NJ that Stack's-Bowers does not.

Look on the bright side. At least the sales tax was reduced from "really high" to "moderately high".
If I lived there I would be looking to move, they have a ton of unsustainable expenses. That is why they need more and more $$.
