Is this a RPM? 1942-D Merc.

I was organizing some of my coin photos and when I enlarged the mm on this 1942-D Mercury Dime, it just looked odd. I checked Variety Vista and it did not seem to match up to any of their pictures. I realize early die states and later die states can appear different. Am I missing something. Comments appreciated.

I can see a shelf like indication under the inner top of the D... but kind of hard to tell... need sharper image for me anyways.

There does appear to be something there... even to the lower right of the D....Cheers, RickO

Back down the magnification by 50% and sharpen the image. Can't tell with what you provided.

I don't think so, but a sharper image would be better.

Well, there is a Cherry Picker's D/D for that date (FS-501)....so you've got that going for you.

I'll let someone with more knowledge and experience figure out if THAT coin happens to be that variety.....

Definitely not the 501 if anything.
