I was just wondering if this is a ddr 1971 quarter I think I see doubling on the tops of the letters

There is an outstanding doubled die reverse for this date but your coin ain't it. I don't think there's anything there at all.

Looks like counting wheel damage from automated rolling equipment that is giving the illusion of notching at the tops of the letters. It’s post mint damage and not worth a premium, but keep looking.

Have you read the other posts on this and other things only you see?
By doing so you might understand what you actualy and learn somethig h in the process or just continue status quo?
If you are able to use the search function ** find my logo and that should answer your confusion of **Double Dies etc.
