Just found this strong clashed die on the views inner right side of the wreath. 1902 IHC .

  Appears to be damage. That impression does not match up to any details on the obverse. And, there is other, probably related damage also on the reverse.

  Edit: errrr. Nevermind. I can't make up my mind right now!!!

  There is clear evidence of clashing along with PMD, IMHO. Neat find.

  At first glance that's what I thought but going back to obv feathers do have an egg shape at their bases
