Old School AU 55 Half Cent, from JJ Teaparty

In light of a recent thread, I wanted to share this with the forum for their thoughts. Purchased about 30 years ago and its been residing in the 7070 since then.
In my opinion, it was an AU55 back then, and it's still an AU55 today....but maybe I'm old school too.

    Looks 58 to me . . . Nice coin!

    Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
    Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

    Might be high-EF or a real AU, but it's a nice coin....The kind that are hard to locate now.

    Very nice in every way ! I love it and am kinda drawn to these pretty copper coins from long ago.

    Most of the rim marks on the reverse look more like die crumbling or mini cuds to me....guessing a real EACer would apply a judicious brushing and call it EF45, and then
    price it as a commercial choice AU :*

    I think it looks a bit rough but has good detail, I would think mid-AU until I see the reverse rim, top and bottom. I have sent coins in with less damage and been no-graded.

    Strikes on these coins are usually hammered, so if you see missing detail, there's probably a luster break and it's an AU. You might get it in a 58 holder today.

    That coin Rocks! No matter the the grade...I dig the 60’s hippy dude on the obverse......EACers always reminded me of the Russian judges scores for the USA in the Olympics.

    Really nice to see such a high quality coin raw these days. I believe your grade is accurate. I like the light blue toning you see ever so slightly peeping out.
